Hey Fraser!

We’re so happy to announce we are continuing with our reopening plan and now opening up reservations for computer access and browsing. In keeping with capacity limitations, a total of four 45-minute reservations per hour are available for our patrons. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Day of reservations will not be accepted.

Reservations for browsing and computers will start at 10:30 a.m. Mon.-Sat. and will go until 6:30 p.m. Mon.-Thurs. and 3:30 p.m. Fri.-Sat. Reservation periods are for 45 minutes starting at the time of the reservation, not the time of arrival. At the end of the reservation period, all patrons will be escorted out of the building so we can sanitize and prepare for the next group.

Browsing reservations will start Monday, August 24. To make a reservation, please do the following:

  • Call the library at (586) 293-2055 24 hours in advance to make a reservation.

  • When you arrive for your scheduled time, we ask you to call the library so we can verify your name to let you in through the front door.

  • Patrons are allowed to bring no more than one additional person with them if needed, but encouraged to come alone if possible.

Additionally, pursuant to Executive Order 147, masks are required to enter the building if medically able. We kindly ask anyone presenting symptoms of COVID-19 to refrain from entering the building.

Curbside service WILL remain available for those wishing to pick up their holds, checkout materials, or needing to print, copy or fax without needing to use the computer first.
